WRBP | Week Nine

This week’s readings are honest and weighty. Genesis 34 through 36 reveals how quickly harm and anger can multiply when left unchecked, yet it also shows God’s steady covenant faithfulness. In Genesis 35, the Lord calls Jacob back to Bethel, back to consecration and realignment. After rupture, there is return.

Proverbs 9 places two invitations before us: Wisdom and Folly. One builds toward life. The other leads toward destruction. We are asked to consider which voice is shaping our responses.

Psalm 46 anchors the week with hope. While the world shakes, God remains our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.

Week 9 invites us to examine our responses, return to reverent wisdom, and rest in the unshakable nearness of God.
