WRBP | Week Seven
Week 7 brings us face to face with how exhaustion, desire, and hidden struggle shape our decisions. In Genesis 25–28, we watch Esau trade his birthright in a moment of depletion and Jacob encounter God in the wilderness after consequences unfold. Proverbs 7 warns us that drift toward temptation often begins subtly, when the heart is unanchored and proximity goes unchecked. Psalm 32 reveals the internal weight of silence and the restoring freedom of confession. Together, these passages expose the vulnerability of the human heart when it is tired, stressed, or living in survival mode, while also reminding us that covenant mercy meets us even there. This week invites us to slow down, guard what is sacred, confess quickly, and trust that God’s faithfulness steadies us when our own discernment feels fragile.
