Week 7 brings us to a powerful turning point in the story of redemption. After rescue, testing, wandering, failure, and fear, we see a God who still chooses to remain with His people. In Exodus 32–34, Israel breaks covenant almost as quickly as it is given, yet God responds with both holiness and mercy. Isaiah 35 reminds us that God brings healing, restoration, and joy even to weary places, while Matthew 13–14 shows Jesus continuing to reveal the Kingdom to hearts willing to trust Him. Together, this week reminds us that our failures do not cancel God’s faithfulness. The Lord is not only the God who delivers us from bondage. He is the God who stays, restores, renews, and leads wounded people forward with His presence.
