Week One is not about dramatic freedom yet. It is about noticing. In Exodus, we meet a people who are surviving but not free. They are functioning and enduring, yet still in bondage. Before anything changes outwardly, God hears, sees, and moves toward them.

Isaiah reminds us that bondage is not only external. It can exist in the heart. God speaks to people who are going through the motions but feel distant, calling them back to relationship, not just behavior.

In Matthew, redemption becomes personal. Jesus enters broken stories and comes near. This week invites you to slow down and recognize where God is already at work. Redemption begins with Him moving toward you.
