“My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” 2 Corinthians 12:9
The year of 2025 has come and gone. I have seen pain, confusion, and loss. There have been struggles physically, emotionally, financially, and spiritually. But through it all, I can look at those things that could be considered bad, and I can see the hand of God shaping and molding me to see the good that comes out of them.
Not to focus on the past, but to keep my eyes focused on Him as I go forth into the future.
The physical struggles have brought me to a better thought process in my eating habits and my physical activity. I am in the process of becoming healthy once again and praising God through the journey. My emotional battles have led me deeper into the Word to find my worth as defined by my Creator.
The financial struggles have led me to be more thankful for what I have and for how He is going to provide, as He always does.
The spiritual struggle was a hard one to walk through. As I was grieving the loss of my mother, I was being lied about and told hurtful, untrue things by someone I thought was a friend. Her words rattled me, but God, in all of His greatness, had a better plan for me. The way He orchestrated everything and put things into motion was amazing. He called me to a place of peace, not chaos. He called me to the hearts of women who truly love one another. He called me out of confusion and into His will.
He has promised to never leave me. He loves me so much, and I can feel His presence surrounding me. He reminds me that His grace is sufficient for me, and that through Him I can do all things. I will continue to walk in faith, all for His glory.
